To Disable / Re-enable Integration with XATTACH and Attach DWG Functionality in External References Manager

  1. At the command line, enter DMSSET.
  2. When prompted to enter variable name, enter ATTACHMODE
  3. Do one of the following:

    To disable reference attach integration, enter 0 when prompted to enter the new value for ATTACHMODE.

    or

    To re-enable reference attach integration, enter 1 when prompted to enter the new value for ATTACHMODE.
